Hi! My name is Stuti and I'm the founder and creative producer behind The Cheesecake Project. My job today is a lot like making the perfect dessert: it takes a massive amount of behind-the-scenes precision, a stellar team, and just the right amount of sweetness to get it right.
I’ve always been obsessed with how people tell stories. But before I was helping couples preserve their family history, I was busy learning how the biggest brands in the world captivate an audience.
Before weddings became my world 14 years ago, I cut my teeth in television production and advertising at Ogilvy & Mather. That fast-paced world taught me how to produce major stories under pressure, but I found myself looking for something with a bit more real-world heart. When I stepped into the wedding industry— back when modern wedding photography was just finding its feet in India, I fell in love with documenting actual human connection.
Today, even as this industry has grown into a beautiful, massive giant, I still look at weddings with that same original curiosity. My role has evolved from being behind the lens to guiding the big picture. I shape the overarching creative direction, while my incredible team of a decade — a crew that has grown up together and feels more like family — brings that vision to life on the ground.
While weddings are grand celebrations, we collectively look for the quiet, honest moments: the pride in a father’s eyes, a mother’s gentle touch, and the raw emotions that bind people together. We approach every wedding with immense care because we know these aren't just photos; they are the heartbeat of your history. Our goal is to handle the details so you can simply be present, letting our team craft a legacy that allows you to relive your story exactly as it felt, year after year.

Together, we'll finalise timelines, family portraits, key rituals, special performances and everything our team needs to know to document your celebrations seamlessly.

What services to you offer?
Photography
We cover your day from every angle! From honest, documentary-style moments and unforced, effortless couple portraits to family formals and a sharp eye for your design and decor details.
Films
We blend high-impact cinematic wedding films with elegant, full-length documentary chapters that capture every single speech, ritual, and dance exactly as it unfolded.
Where are you based?
While Mumbai is home, we follow love absolutely anywhere. Our team is fully passport-ready with all major visas sorted, bringing a decade of experience documenting weddings across India and internationally.
How big is your team?
We are a collective of 18 specialists, including photographers, cinematographers, drone pilots, and editors, always led by a dedicated Creative Director.
While we prefer dedicating our entire creative energy to just one wedding per date to ensure undivided focus, the actual crew size we bring to your wedding is tailored entirely to the scale of your events and your specific requirements.
Whether you need a lean, ninja-like team for an intimate celebration or our full powerhouse crew for a grand affair, we have the talent ready to deploy.
We can't pose and are awkward in front of the camera! How do we ensure good photographs?
Spoiler alert: 99% of the couples in our portfolio said the exact same thing to us. They aren't professional models — they're just people who found a team they could laugh with.
We don't do stiff, rigid posing instructions that make you hold your breath. Instead, we use subtle, fun prompts that get the two of you interacting naturally until you completely forget we're even there. Every couple is wired differently; if you need a little more direction, we’ve got you covered, and if you just want to do your own thing, we'll step back. Let’s talk through your camera nerves when we meet :) We promise it’s way easier (and more fun) than you think!
What are your charges?
Every wedding is unique, so we customize our quotes based on your events and the crew size required. We like to take the time to truly understand your plans so we can craft a proposal that fits your celebration perfectly.
Investments begin at ₹350,000 for a comprehensive package including Photography and Wedding Films.
You are also more than welcome to book our photography or film services individually.
Do you offer wedding albums and printed photographs?
Heirloom Archival Case
A few weeks after the wedding, while the memories are still fresh and before your full gallery is ready, we send you something to hold onto. Your Heirloom Archival Case arrives with a curated selection of your favourite moments, printed as individual fine-art photographs and beautifully presented in a keepsake case. Think of it as the first little chapter of your wedding story — something you can open, pass around, frame, or simply keep close.
Because some photographs deserve more than a swipe.
Your Wedding Album
We believe photos are meant to be printed and held, not just kept on a hard drive. There is something incredibly beautiful about seeing your family history captured in print, living on a coffee table rather than a screen.
We design each layout from scratch, treating every page spread like a scene from a movie to tell your story exactly how it felt.
Once you choose your favourite images, we customize the cover using a curated range of premium materials like Italian suede, vegan leather, and fine linen, with physical swatches available so you can feel the quality for yourself.
How do you photograph weddings?
We treat your wedding like a family archive in the making. Our team spends the day tracking the people you love, ensuring your gallery is packed with everything from chaotic, unposed laughs to the proper, elegant family portraits that your parents will want to frame.
While we are always on the lookout for those raw, fleeting moments between guests, we also make dedicated time for effortless couple portraits that reflect your personal style. We want your final collection to feel like a complete, breathing record of your favorite people, captured so honestly that you'll still feel the energy of the room decades from now.
