Mikayla & Adi

Our journey with Megha and Anirudh began on a soft Bangalore afternoon, when they whisked us away to Avalhalli Forest Park. They love greens as much as I do, so being surrounded by them felt like stepping into our shared happy place. It was refreshing to walk beneath the tall eucalyptus trees, their slender trunks reaching skyward, the sunlight streaming through in warm, dappled patches. Somewhere along the way, they picked up some lovely goodies for us — a small but telling gesture of their warmth. In that quiet expanse, I think I photographed them much like how I’d like to be photographed myself — unposed, unhurried, simply existing in a space that felt right. Among the trees and winding paths, the frames came together as naturally as their laughter and glances.

The next morning, we got a glimpse into their home for the shoot — a green sanctuary with hundreds of plants, each thriving and lovingly cared for. Morning light poured in gently, filtering through leaves, brushing against warm wooden tones. In the midst of it all was Mishka, their beautiful, gentle dog, padding around with quiet curiosity and the occasional nudge for affection. We moved slowly through their space, making photographs that felt less like a shoot and more like an extension of their everyday life — the quiet cups of coffee, the shared laughter, the ease of simply being together. These images became not just portraits, but little windows into their world — a world that is warm, abundant, and deeply, unmistakably theirs.

From the quiet shade of eucalyptus trees to the gentle light in their green-filled home, these two days with Megha and Anirudh felt like breathing in something soft and beautiful. As I share these frames, I’m sending them — and you — all my love.
